Hi Guys, I’ve recently picked up the N950 and I’ve hit a wall trying to get Dolby Atmos to work. Hopefully someone can help me.
For TV settings, I have enhanced format as the HDMI signal format and Dolby Digital Plus output selected. The soundbar is running from the ARC port of my 2017 firmware updated Sony 65x9300e to the ARC port of the soundbar. I also have an Xbox One X connected to the soundbar through the HDMI channels. EDIT 2: Ok, got home from work and tried a few things. Even though I had previously uninstalled and reinstalled it, tried hard restarts, etc it didn’t work previously. But this time I went in the order of Uninstall all Atmos apps/content > Hard Restart > Reinstall Atmos Access App & Atmos for Headphones, now it looks like it recognizes it. However, I’m getting an entirely different error when I try and enable Atmos, saying “Check your audio receiver. There was a problem using this setting. Make sure your audio receiver supports it. Also, make sure to choose at least one audio setting. Both can’t be off. (0x80bd0009).”….. I guess I’m making some kind of progress since it’s a different error now? But now I’m just stumped as to why it is telling me to check my audio receiver…

For best results, we recommend that you follow the instructions below in the same order in which we have placed them. Finally, you should find a solution that solves the sound problem, regardless of who is at fault.
