There is a possibility that the file name contains special characters, which causes the file history to give an error 201.
It turns out there are a bunch of 201 Errors in my File History Event Logs. In each of them, I read, “Unable to scan user libraries for changes and perform backup of modified files for configuration C:/Users/…”.
What are the causes of File History error 201? In general, this error is caused by the following factors:
- A special character is present in the file name
- This file or path has a long name
- Having trouble compressing folders

However, it is possible to encounter the error code 201 when using FileHistory to do a security copy of files, especially when adding files to Documentos. This error interferes with the operation.
My old Windows 7 Image Backup & Restore program (Events 201 szett bug, Event 204 full backup drive, etc.) and Windows 10 Filehistory (Events 201 szett bug, etc.) caused me multiple problems (in the past). As a result of a similar problem, my mum’s Windows PC did not create backups for weeks.
Install pending Windows updates

Remove the special characters from the file names
