What Can I Do With Cortana

Your Windows phone or computer can be customized with Cortana, a virtual assistant that helps you accomplish tasks like setting a reminder, scheduling meetings, searching the internet, answering questions, finding an item on your computer, and managing your tasks.

Cortana’s Notebook

You can keep Cortana’s interests and favorite places in the Notebook, which is where it stores things it has learned from you. Cortana learns your home and work locations from the Notebook, and it shows you traffic on the way home, tracks packages and flights for you, or manages your calendar without you lifting a finger. The Notebook is important.

Cortana Computer

A virtual assistant powered by artificial intelligence, Cortana is an app available on Windows 10 and 11. It works together with Microsoft 365 productivity software to assist users in carrying out their daily tasks.

Cortana Searches

Cortana can be used to search two ways on Windows 10: you can use the search box in the taskbar, or you can use the keyboard shortcuts Windows + Shift + C to search for anything. As an alternative, you can start Cortana listening mode by pressing Windows + Shift + C or using the “Hey Cortana” feature.

Cortana Search

With Cortana, you can search settings on your PC, find files, and find apps online using Bing. But it uses internet data, so it may pose privacy concerns for some people.

Cortana Usage

It integrates with Microsoft 365, which includes Windows XP and later versions of windows, as well as the Microsoft Edge browser. Cortana can answer questions through the Bing search engine.

Open Cortana

To get started, make sure you’re signed into the Cortana app so you can ask Cortana a question by saying “Hey, Cortana.” Since the update, you can ask Cortana a question through saying: “Hey, Cortana,” or simply “Cortana.”

Users can set the paging file size to a fixed size, but doing so could interfere with the behavior of certain Windows apps, such as the Compressed Memory and System apps.

In addition, you can see the search box immediately on the task bar whenever you click the search box because Cortana is already loaded in memory.

Apparently, a fix for a Cortana bug also broke some people’s start menus as part of the latest Windows 10 update.

A Cortana assistant for Windows 10 offers a number of useful features that can be activated by voice or typing in search terms. The high memory consumption of Cortana, however, does not appeal to everyone, so many users disable it.

If you find that your Cortana app is not using as much memory as it used to, restore your PC to the previous setting. Learn how to restore your PC by reading this article.
