My second monitor was used to watch some YouTube as I played Forza Horizon 4 today. I had been having a lot of PC issues lately, but it seemed like they were gone after I tried some fixes… so yay, success, right? Well, until today. I noticed my game freeze, then the video froze, but nothing major happened. After relaunching the game and starting playing, it crashed. I relaunched it and enjoyed it, until I saw a blue screen.

Your graphics card drivers need to be updated.

Perform a system restore

It may be helpful to use system restore if you are experiencing problems with your computer or if it keeps freezing or crashing. This is especially useful if it is experiencing freezes or crashes. Follow the on-screen instructions to restore your computer by selecting the option labeled “Restore my computer”.

In order to make changes to your PC, you don’t actually need to perform a full system restore; you can just choose a particular date/time range to revert back to. It’s a pretty straightforward process, but it is important to know a few things. You can, however, simply select the most recent restore point and start from there if you are trying to fix something now.

Secondly, restoring your computer will not delete any important files or programs, so you won’t lose anything important. You might encounter some errors when restoring if you have installed third-party software. You can ignore these errors or manually uninstall the program in those cases.

A system restore cannot undo changes made to your hard drive, so you won’t be able to recover files and folders if you delete them accidentally or change their permissions.

Start a SFC and DISM scan

Usually, AMDkmdag.sys is generated occur because of an outdated or broken display adapter. The BSOD may also be triggered by corrupted system files, faulty drivers, corrupted registry entries, and many other issues. Several people have complained of seeing a blue screen with a bug check error when using Windows 10 in specific settings and scenarios. A blue screen is typically accompanied by a message indicating that your computer has encountered a problem and must restart. This is also highly reliant on the precise error code that appears on the user’s screen.

Using these utilities, you can check and repair corruptions in the Windows registry, bootmgr, and system files in case of critical issues in Windows OS. You can use them to check and fix any issues in Windows OS. Several factors may contribute to blue screen errors when running Microsoft Windows operating systems, such as malware infections, improper software installation, and hardware malfunction.

It is possible to repair system files that are missing or damaged with the SFC/scannow utility. You need to download the program from the link provided above to scan your computer for such problems. Once it has been downloaded, open the folder where it has been saved. Run the program according to the instructions.

If you find any errors in your disk partitions, you must use the Disk Management Utility to evaluate them. After you have performed the scanning, make sure to select the option Repair Missing Files and Folders.

The DISM tool can help you determine if images are invalid or missing on your hard drive and removable media. To learn how to use it, see our guide.

Check the disk for errors

You don’t want to see a Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) when your computer crashes as a result of an unrecoverable error. It usually happens due to a code bug. Despite the fact that you can fix most problems yourself, you may need to hire an expert to help you. Fortunately, you can diagnose and fix the most common causes of BSODs using Microsoft’s built-in tool chkdsk.

Using chkdsk is as easy as pressing Win + R to open a Command Prompt window. Enter “chkdsk C:/”. If asked about file system consistency, select Yes. If you are prompted for a password, enter it. Restart the computer once you have run chkdsk and let us know what happens.
