Re-register the Windows Defender DLL files

  3. WinDefend’s key should be owned by you.
  4. You can find the Start DWORD in the right pane of the key after you have acquired ownership.
  5. By default, DWORD should be 2 since you ran into a problem. You should set it to 4 so that it remains the same.
  6. This problem was caused by different cost data. Double-click the same DWORD to solve the problem.
  7. Put 2 instead of 4 in the box above.
