By adjusting Steam settings, you can enable streaming
- First, open the Steam app on your computer and navigate to the Steam button.
- In the upper left corner, you’ll see it.
- Once you’ve done that, click the In-Home-Streaming tab.
- Enable the “Streaming” checkbox.
Add Steam to your firewall whitelist
- Using your keyboard, press the Windows key to open the Start menu.
- Click on “Firewall and network protection” after typing “Firewall”.
- Click on Allow an application through the firewall in the opened window.
- A list of your computer’s installed applications should appear now.
- The first thing you must do is click the Change Settings button in the upper right corner to begin configuring these settings.
- Simply left-click any of the applications and type “Steam” to find Steam.
- In the column titled “Public” and “Private,” check both check boxes.
