When I invoke my Amazon API Gateway API, I receive the error “The request does not have an Access-Control-Allow-Origin header.”. How can I fix this?

The error “Failed to obtain a token from Origin” from Apex Legends might have haunted you if you’ve ever played a battle royale game from EA or Respawn Entertainment for PC. Some users seem to be having trouble with Origin, AE’s proprietary PC launcher.

You may’ve encountered an error message “Failed to get a token from Origin” in Apex Legends if you’ve been playing the surprise battle royale hit from EA and Respawn Entertainment on PC. Some users appear to be experiencing problems with the Origin launcher, which is EA’s proprietary PC launcher. This error prevents those affected from reaching the main menu, rendering the game unplayable. To combat this issue, follow these steps.

There are a few things you can do to fix this error, which prevents victims from accessing the main menu.

What causes the “Failed to Get Token from Origin” message?

This problem can be closed now, so if you have any suggestions for improving it, please let me know.

You may not be receiving an Origin token for your game due to improper installation of both the game and Origin client. Additionally, UAC, your Internet provider, antivirus/firewall restrictions, and Internet Service Provider may be responsible for the error you mention. Titanfall and Apex Legends games are reported to encounter this error when players attempt to play them.

Even a novice crypto investor can understand and rally behind a token burn because it creates a strong narrative. A token burn doesn’t matter whether it significantly shrinks its supply and thereby raises its price. People purchase tokens when they expect a reduction in supply, so the price will often increase anyway if a token burn is hyped enough.

Users can chat with friends in Origin In-Game and stream the game using the Origin client. There have been some instances where the Origin In-Game feature causes problems, while in other cases it solves them. The Origin feature can be enabled/disabled in this context.

Internet service providers use a variety of techniques and methods in order to control web traffic and protect their users. But sometimes in the process, they block an important resource that Origin/game needs to work, causing the issue you’re experiencing. If you are experiencing this problem, try switching networks (you can use the access point on your phone) or using a VPN.

Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this? I just installed Titanfall on my new PC this morning, and I was able to play ~10 or maybe 15 games, but now I get the “Lost connection to server: Failed to get a token from Origin” message when I get to the main menu. I have tried all 4 steps listed under the “”Unable to retrieve Origin token” error message”” section (reparing game, running as admin, clearing Origin Data Cache, and Enabling NetBIOS over TCP/IP.) I also tried turning my AVG virus protection and the Windows firewall off, nothing. Tried opening ports for Titanfall, nothing. Tried changing Data Centers, no good. Tried the ipconfig /flushdns, /registerdns, /release, /renew, and netsh winsock reset commands in cmd, nothing. I’m at wits end, I have no idea what else I can do aside from just waiting and hoping it fixes itself…

There is probably a problem with Origin installation or faulty modules. The Origin client may need to be uninstalled (save Origin folders in the installation directory and ProgramData folder, then delete them), then reinstalled. After reinstalling Origin, Origin In-Game may need to be disabled.

  2. Run Command Prompt as administrator by right-clicking on it in the results list.
  3. After typing each command, press Enter:
  4. DNS flushing with IPconfig
  5. The IP configuration command “ipconfig /registerdns”

  5. On the left side of the window, click “Change Adapter Settings.”.
  6. Select “Properties” from the right-click menu after you have clicked your connection.
  7. Then click “Properties” and click on “TCP/IP Version 4”.
  8. Once the new window opens, click “Advanced.”.
