Here's how to fix a broken Windows 8 Mail app

Install the latest updates

  1. You can find this at the bottom right of the screen by moving your mouse cursor there.
  2. The Settings menu will appear when you left-click.
  3. Click on “Settings” and select “Change PC settings”.
  4. Locate and click on the option Refresh and Restore in the next window.
  5. You can now left-click or click on the Check Now button.
  6. Upon completion of the check, you will be asked to install the updates.

  10. Your computer needs to be restarted.
